Virtual Corporate Events | Executive Chef Events

We have heard your calls and we are here to help you curate the perfect Virtual Experience for your group!

As a company that specializes in Corporate Culinary Team Building Events, we have curated four categories of Virtual Experiences, all with unique programming to choose from.

The first experience being our Virtual Iron Chef Competitions!

A perfect choice for teams that love friendly competition and cooking without recipes! Teams compete in creating a meal using the mystery ingredients our Chef chooses - in only 30 minutes! We offer shipped Mystery Boxes that are sent straight to your guests door to open LIVE during the event. Learn more about our Mystery Boxes below.

Our second offering is Virtual Cooking Classes!

Maybe you are looking for relaxing cooking classes for your group. Well, look no further! We have a variety of cuisine themes to choose from - Mediterranean, Sheet Pan Dinners, Quick Pickles and Charcuterie, and more. Our professional Chefs will walk your guests through every recipe, LIVE and answer any questions along the way.

Our third offering is a selection of Virtual Culinary & Mixology Challenges!

Our Culinary & Mixlogy Challenges are perfect for Friday Night Happy Hours or as a quick event designed to boost morale. Professional Chefs or Bartenders teach a simple recipe or cocktail and then challenge the attendees to make it in a set amount of time. Everyone has a great time and gets to enjoy a beverage or a light meal afterward. Mocktails can be delivered nationwide, while wine and spirits can be delivered in California and to some Western States.

We can accommodate Custom Events as well!

Perhaps you would like an appetizer and cocktail event with shipped ingredients and beverages, a pizza making Cooking Class or a Holiday- Themed Event!? Just fill out our contact form via our Plan Your Event button and one of our event planners will be in touch shortly!

As we make the transition into Fall, our Eat This Now Recipe is an Apple Cider & Ginger Shrub! A Shrub is a versatile vinegar based syrup that can be easily infused with the warm flavors of Fall - or any season for that matter. The spicy ginger and sweetness of the apple in this Shrub is a great addition to your cocktails, mocktails and even salad dressings! Just remember, this recipe has a vinegar base, so a little goes a long way.

When making a Shrub, I always reference Caroline Lange's recipe, available at Food52. Her ratio of 1:1:1 (1 part Fruit: 1 part Vinegar: 1 part Sugar) is a great place to start. With this golden ratio you can add as many or as little spices or seasonings as you prefer. In this case, our additional spice or seasoning is going to be the fresh ginger. Depending on how spicy or ginger forward you would like your shrub, add as little or as much as you prefer!

This recipe requires very little prep and is ready to enjoy the next day.

Apple Cider & Ginger Shrub Recipe | Eat This Now | Executive Chef Events

Ingredients

1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

1/2 cup Sugar

1/4 cup Water

1/2 cup Gala, Fuji or Red Delicious Apple, sliced

1 inch Fresh Ginger, peeled and sliced

2 cup Mason Jar with Lid

Directions

1. In a sauce pot combine 1/2 cup Sugar with 1/4 cup of water and bring to a boil

2. Once the sugar mixture comes to a boil, turn off the heat and add the sliced apple, ginger and vinegar. Cover the pot with a lid and let sit for 20 minutes, at room temperature.

3. Pour the shrub, fruit and all - into the 2 cup mason jar and let cool uncovered in the fridge overnight.

4. The next day, strain the shrub to remove the fruit and ginger. You can blend the fruit to make apple sauce or add to your morning smoothie. Chop the ginger and add to your favorite vinaigrette, stir fry or baked good!

5. The shrub can be served immediately. Add a dash to your sparkling water, champagne or to your favorite whiskey! Store in a jar with a lid, refrigerated for several months.
